Project IGI follows the story of David Jones, a former SAS operative working with the Institute for Geotactical Intelligence. The narrative revolves around Jones as he embarks on a series of covert operations to recover stolen nuclear warheads and expose a hidden conspiracy. Spanning 14 missions across various locations, each level challenges players with objectives that require stealth, reconnaissance, and precision. Unlike most shooters, IGI encourages players to avoid direct combat whenever possible, focusing instead on infiltration, disabling alarm systems, and using silenced weapons to remain undetected.
